We are delighted to announce that Chesterton AFC has been awarded FA Charter Standard Club status.

Over the last few months, the club has been able to meet strict criteria set by The FA in order to obtain the accreditation. This is a testament to the hours of work put in my managers Tim Bond and Jordan Stallard, as well as the coaching staff and players.

Clubs which achieve The FA Charter Standard accreditation are challenged to maintain high standards and, where appropriate, to improve and progress to new levels. We are proud to prioritise qualified coaching and safeguarding as well as the values of The FA’s Respect campaign as part of our game.

The accreditation was confirmed by The FA on 28/01/2019. It will last for one calendar year and be renewed in 12 months as part of the club re-affiliation process. Key benefits of the club’s new status include access to additional kit and funding.
