Chesterton AFC recorded their first pre-season victory on Tuesday evening, putting five goals past Cirencester and District League rivals Kingshill Sports at the Flying Monk.

A brace from Matt Lammond, and individual strikes from George Peare, Danny Bishop and Joe Stratford ensured the home side would emerge with the bragging rights, despite falling behind on two occasions in the first half.

It was a great game on the night, with both teams trying to play their own brand of fast, passing football and the visitors deserve huge credit for the competition they posed.

Next up for AFC is Malmesbury Victoria Vics Reserves on Saturday afternoon. Come and show your support.
